Jim Watson was elected Mayor in 2010 on a platform to increase investments in housing and homelessness by $56 million.
He kept his promise. Since then, there has been a decline of more than 80% of people living on the streets.
But there’s still more work to do.
If re-elected on October 27, Jim will extend this funding commitment and increase affordable housing investments by an additional $8 million.
Jim’s second term will be focused on providing long-term solutions to reducing chronic homelessness.
